Pro Call of Duty player dumps model girlfriend to focus on gaming

Gamers have largely been viewed as scrawny or fat nerds who sit in dark rooms and waste their lonely lives away. Of course, that’s just a stereotype and popular Call of Duty YouTuber Doug Martin (AKA FaZe Censor) proved that much a few years ago.

The YouTuber known for his Call of Duty skills began dating the illustrious Yanet Garcia, an infamous weather woman from Mexico who went viral for the fact that she is… *ahem* very, “well-endowed” on her backside. Their relationship has been very public as the two have flaunted each other off on social media and Martin himself featured her heavily in his YouTube videos.

The two were, as the kids would say, “#RelationshipGoals” but sometimes thing don’t always work out. Martin took to his YouTube channel to announce that he and Yanet Garcia were splitting up and while we usually don’t cover relationships… the reasoning behind the breakup is incredibly interesting.

“As you guys can tell by the title, Yanet and I are no longer in a relationship with each other anymore. So I’m just gonna take it back to the beginning really quick. If any of you guys don’t know Yanet, obviously, is one of the most beautiful women in the world. She’s a supermodel. She’s super, super famous on social media,” said Martin. “We started seeing each other three years ago. I flew all the way out to Mexico to meet this girl. I thought she was beautiful, I wanted to know more about this girl. We ended up dating each other and then we ended up getting into a relationship with each other and then we ended up moving in together in New York and we had a great time in that apartment for that year/year and a half, we had so many great memories, so many bad memories like, you know, the highs and the lows.”

He then dropped the bomb on why the relationship fell apart, he wants to focus on Call of Duty so he can’t dedicate time to her.

“For me to manage bring a professional Call of Duty player, being a gym shark/athlete, being a YouTuber, making videos, playing Call of Duty full time, taking care of two dogs, having a house and going through renovations, and then also having a girlfriend… It’s like I had to pick my poison of what I wanted to spend my time and focus on. There’s only 24 hours in a day, and I just didn’t have time to do everything that I needed to do,” he said. “She wants to be an actress. I want to be an actor. I want to win a Call of Duty Award Championship. Chase your dreams, life is too short. You gotta do what you want in life.”

We won’t judge Martin because he’s obviously incredibly successful and was dating a supermodel but it’s definitely interesting to see someone break up with a total 10/10 to pursue video games. Maybe that’s a major win, maybe that’s the biggest L someone can take. We’ll leave that to you to decide. You can view his full video below.
