Obsidian Entertainment's Project Eternity already has enough funding to be created, but that hasn't stopped passionate fans from pledging more money. And with each dollar pledged, more and more features will be added to the game, which has been described as "an isometric, party-based CRPG set in a new fantasy world".
Project Eternity, who had an initial goal of $1.1 million, currently sits at $1.913 million — just shy of $2 million and its coinciding stretch goal. If the game gets just another $100,000, a player house will be included. This customizable, in-game house will let you store equipment and function as the place where your companions just hang out. Also, new NPCs, a store with unique armor, clothing, and weapons, and more quests will be added.
Several stretch goals have already been reached including a Mac and Linux version, a DRM-free option, a larger story, two more classes, two more races, and two more companions. If you'd like to pledge toward the Project Eternity Kickstarter, you can do so here.
