Project Scorpio unveil confirmed for E3 2017; “Diverse lineup” of Xbox One games teased

Can it be June already!?

Microsoft is bringing their eight core deep, six teraflops heavy, 4K/VR gaming machine with full backward compatibility to E3 2017. Project Scorpio, which has been shown off to be extremely powerful, is going to get its full rundown at Microsoft's E3 2017 conference on Sunday, June 11th

"We’re excited to unveil Project Scorpio and the amazing game experiences it powers at E3 this June," wrote Phil Spencer in an Xbox Wire post.

This announcement falls in like with previous remarks from the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, and confirms there will be no 'pre-show' event for Scorpio.

Last year, Microsoft kicked off E3 2016 with the reveal of the Xbox One S and the confirmation of Project Scorpio's existence (as well as a couple details). In this particular case, how they revealed the Xbox One S is the important part.

The event saw a price point for the Xbox One S, details/specs on the console, and a release date. We will probably see the same information for Scorpio during the event – as well as its official name!

Microsoft has teased a big event, ripe with games and hardware, during their E3 showcase and Spencer went on to tease a "diverse lineup" of games that are exclusive to the Xbox One and that "will play better on Project Scorpio." In addition to that, Spencer added that Scorpio was designed to be the "best console to play the blockbuster multiplatform games from our publishing partners."

E3 is just around the corner, it's time to prepare your body!
