Project X Zone features Frank West, Zephyr and Leanne from Resonance of Fate, and more

Project X Zone is an upcoming tactical RPG from developer Banpresto and publisher Namco Bandai. The game will contain characters from across numerous series and three major publishers — Resident Evil from Capcom, Valkyria Chronicles from Sega, and Tekken from Namco Bandai, just to name a few on the list.

A new announcement reveals that Frank West (Dead Rising), Lei Lei (Darkstalkers), Zephyr and Leanne (Resonance of Fate, also called End of Eternity), and Soma and Alisa (God Eater Burst) will also appear. One special attack known as Midnight’s Chime recreates the opening cinematic scene of Resonance of Fate (screen right).

So far Project X Zone (pronounced "Project Cross Zone") is only confirmed for the 3DS in Japan. No release date has been set.
