An update to PlayStation Now has made available God of War: Ascension and the original inFAMOUS for streaming via PS4 or PS3.
PS Now, Sony's new service which grants users quick and easy access to games by allowing them to rent and stream games directly from Sony's cloud servers, without having to wait for downloads, installs, or patches, was previously only available on PS4, but expanded to PS3 last week. Though PS3 games are currently only being offered, Sony has repeatedly said it is looking into making PS1, PS2, and even PS4 games available as well.
"The library of PS Now games has grown to more than 150 titles, and will continue to grow as the service expands over time," SCEA's John Koller said last week. Pricing for game rentals varies depending on the game, but in most cases you can rent a game for an entire week for about $1 a day. Again, Sony has also said they are looking into offering some sort of subscription plan as well.
