PS Plus: Outlast heading to PS4 for free next week

PlayStation Plus subscribers anxious to have the sh*t scared out of them play Outlast will be able to do so as early as next week, according to this week's PlayStation Blogcast. Outlast is February's free PlayStation Plus game for PS4.

For those unfamiliar, Outlast is a first-person survival-horror game that puts you behind the camera of investigative journalist Miles Upshurt as he explores Mount Massive Asylum. It was first available on PC where it terrified the entire GameZone office. Reviewer Mike Splechta gave the game an 8.5/10, calling it "one of the scariest games I've ever played in my life."

Outlast is the only free PS4 game for the month of February, though PlayStation 3 owners will be treated to Metro: Last Light, PayDay 2, and Remember Me. Vita owners will get Street Fighter X Tekken and ModNation Racers: Road Trip.
