Irrational Games' BioShock Infinite is joining the Instant Game Collection and will be free for PlayStation Plus members starting tomorrow. Following tomorrow's PlayStation Store update, PS3 owners will be able to download and play one of 2013's biggest hits.
Those worried that Infinite being the third installment in the BioShock series will confuse you should rest easy knowing there's much more about the game that will leave you perplexed than its series history.
"Indebted to the wrong people and with his life on the line, veteran of the U.S. Cavalry and hired gun Booker DeWitt has only one opportunity to wipe his slate clean. He must rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood and locked up in the flying city of Columbia. Forced to trust one another, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond during their daring escape."
BioShock Infinite is only the tip of the free PS Plus content users are enjoying this month. Last week, PS3 users were treated to DmC Devil May Cry, while PS4 owners got Don't Starve for free. Looking ahead, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is still due out for PS3, as well as Worms: Battle As and Smart As for Vita.
What's more, Sony also announced today "14 for 14." In typical Sony fashion, the company is kicking off 2014 by discounting a slew of games for PS3 and Vita. Games will have both a discounted price and a PS Plus discounted price.
