PS Plus reminder: Velocity Ultra free tomorrow on Vita

Closing out Sony's free offerings for April, PlayStation Plus members will be able to download Velocity Ultra for free on PlayStation Vita following tomorrow's PS Store update.

Developed by FuturLab, Velocity Ultra is a shoot 'em up in which you control a spacecraft tasked with rescuing survivors stranded in space. Using your ship's special teleport ability, you can save people while simultaneously eliminating any threat. Velocity Ultra is actually a native Vita version of 2012's Velocity. To that end, it features a new anime-influenced art style, touch screen functinoality for teleporting, improved visual effects, a Platinum trophy, and PlayStation Trophy Leaderboards.

With tomorrow's free release of Velocity Ultra, we now turn the page on April and look forward to May's PS Plus offerings. But before we leave April for good, don't forget to go back and download all of this month's free games. You don't want to miss out on Batman: Arkham Asylum or Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, do you?
