PS Vita listing for Medal of Honor: Warfighter an ‘error’, says EA

A listing for EA's upcoming shooter Medal of Honor: Warfighter for the PlayStation Vita was an "error", the publisher said shortly after it was removed.

The listing on Origin, first spotted by MP1st, showed the game available for Sony's new handheld Vita system, while it has only been announced for consoles and PC.

“I can confirm that it was an error on the site,” said rep told VG247. “As previously confirmed, Medal of Honor: Warfighter is coming out on 360, PS3 and PC.”

Even with the game appearing for the Vita, the real news surrounding Medal of Honor: Warfighter was that pre-ordering the game will guarantee you access to the recently announced Battlefield 4 beta, set to take place in fall 2013. DICE has since said that there will be other ways to get into Battlefield 4's beta, though Warfighter is the only guarantee at this moment.
