PS2 platformer Psychonauts headed to PS4

Double Fine Productions' classic PlayStation 2 platformer Psychonauts is coming to PlayStation 4. 

Arriving this spring, Psychonauts follows the story of a young psychic named Razputin in his quest to join an elite group of international psychic secret agents, the Psychonauts.

"He runs away from the circus and breaks into their secret training facility, Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp," the description teases.

"As he begins his training by psychically delving inside the consciousnesses of his tutors and those around him, he realizes all is not as it seems, and soon embarks upon a psychic odyssey through a variety of levels set inside the minds of misfits, monsters, and madmen!"

Double Fine didn't specify if this was a complete remaster or a port.

Psychonauts has been in a news quite a bit recently, with Double Fine having announced that Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin would be coming exclusively to PlayStation VR in 2016. Most recently the company has been running a crowdfunding campaign to help make Psychonauts 2 which, as of earlier this week, is 100% funded. Double Fine says to expect Psychonauts to arrive on PS4 "in a few years time."
