PS4 includes $10 credit to PS Store and free 30-day trials to PS Plus and Music Unlimited

We're just a week away from the release of the PlayStation 4 and Sony is still throwing in added value. When you unbox your lovely next-gen console on November 15, you'll find three special promotion vouchers that give you a taste of some of the PS4 features.

The first is a free $10 Sony Entertainment Network wallet credit for the PlayStation Store. This can be used towards purchasing anything in the store including new PS4 launch titles like Killzone: Shadow Fall and Battlefield 4.

Also included are two vouches: one for a free 30-day PlayStation Plus membership and another for a free 30-day Music Unlimited service trial. Both, I'm sure, are included as a way to introduce gamers to new features that they may not have used on the PS3. For instance, many don't realize that in order to play multiplayer games online on the PS4, you'll now need a subscription to PlayStation Plus. This is a nice way to introduce players to that concept.

Also, with the PS4 unable to play MP3 files or support DLNA, you'll have to rely on Sony's own Music Unlimited store and streaming service for music and movies. Again, this is a nice way to introduce to the service to new PS4 owners.

I doubt this will encourage anyone to run out and purchase a PS4 if they haven't already done so, but its a nice little added value for those of you who already pre-ordered one.
