Turtle Beach has inked a deal with Sony that will allow the audio peripheral giant create official headsets for the PlayStation 4.
Though the announcement came today, the official headsets won't be unveiled until this summer with a release planed for autumn. Both tournament-grade editions and standard models (for the mere average folk) are going to be available, though specific details, specs, and pricing remain a mystery. The headsets will also be compatible with PS Vita.
While we don't know specifics, the new partnership means Turtle Beach could bust out a line of completely wireless headsets for theĀ PS4, meaning no more plugging into the DualShock 4's chat adaptor. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait to see what is planned exactly.
