PS4 ‘Orbis’ design sketches suggest Kinect-like device, smartphone compatibility

New design illustrations by The Velvet Owl Design Studio suggest the PlayStation 4 will feature some sort of Kinect-device and smartphone compatibility.

Initial sketches of Sony's next-gen console, reportedly codenamed the Orbis, appeared on the California-based design studio's website labeled "Illustrations & Sketches for new PlayStation Orbis features".  Since their discovery, via Kotaku, the images have been removed.  But alas, the images were leaked and, if true, seem to hint at potential features for the currently unannounced PS4.

As you can see below, the images show a PlayStation eye-like camera atop the television screen communicating wirelessly with a smartphone that's controlling elements of a karaoke game.
