PS4’s day one update can be downloaded now

PlayStation 4's 300MB day one update has allegedly been uploaded to Sony's servers, allowing soon-to-be PS4 owners a chance to download the update ahead of time. The PlayStation 4 doesn't release until November 15th in the United States, but NeoGAF user Frumix found the files on the PlayStation website. Apparently, you can download them now even.

The files appear to be the same for every region, like with the PlayStation 3 before it. According to the files found on the server, there are actually two files present: an Update file sized at 308MB and a Recovery file with the size of 859MB.

The PS4's day one update, officially number 1.50, will implement a number of features on the next-gen console including Vita remote play and gameplay sharing. The update will take around 15 minutes, though Sony has already confirmed it can be downloaded in the background while you enjoy your single player games.

For those of you itching to get a head start on your next-gen games, you can download the Update file here and the Recovery file here.
