PS4’s Ratchet and Clank release date confirmed for Europe

Sony and Insomniac have announced that Ratchet and Clank will launch for PS4 on April 20th in the PAL (April 15th in France). The companies announced an April 12th release date for North America at PlayStation Experience last month.

You may also pre-order the game now on the PlayStation store and retailers. This release date is significant as the movie launches on April 29th. With Uncharted 4 now delayed until April 26th, some players were worried about the game's sales launching along side such huge title.

The game tells a rebooted story of the original game, this time focusing on the story of Captain Qwark. Brand new controls have been added along with new planets, gameplay, boss fights and more. This was only announced on the European PS blog with no menion on the North American site. We've reached out to Sony to confirm, but it's a safe bet it will launch in North America on the same day
