PS4 Slim will bring joy to WiFi gamers; 5Ghz support revealed in leak

Sony has had a hard time snuffing the PlayStation 4 Slim leaks before they get preserved forever on the internet.  The PlayStation 4 Slim and new DualShock 4 have been appearing on auction sites, so it's no surprise that details on the new PlayStation products continue to trickle out.

One person, who goes by Shortman84 on Twitter, got their hands on both the PS4 Slim and DualShock 4. Shortman84 has been sharing quite a bit of information already, but they've got even more information on their hands now.

According to Shortman84, the PS4 Slim will include support for 5Ghz WiFi networks. This is a pretty big jump up from the original PS4 and previous PlayStation consoles that only supported 2.4Ghz. This means that your online gaming is about to get a lot smoother… Well, if you're someone that uses WiFi.

Ethernet connection is always preferred in gaming and streaming, but 5Ghz WiFi will definitely help wireless gamers.
