New PS4 system software update version 2.02 is now available for download, Sony has announced.
Judging by the patch notes, it appears it's a rather small update, aimed at improving system software stability during use of some features, games, and apps.
According to a report from VG247, the update also fixes an issue with Dragon Age: Inquisition that would cause the system to freeze and sometimes corrupt the save file. An EA representative confirmed that this issue was caused by the PS4's recent 2.00 update and that the 2.02 update should fix it. Polygon, which first encountered the problem, reports that the update has fixed the issue.
