PS4 update 1.75 coming next week, adds 3D Blu-Ray support

Looks like Sony is joining Microsoft in bringing 3D Blu-Ray support to its next-gen console. Just days after Microsoft revealed its August update for Xbox One, Sony has announced it will match at least one of the features, confirming today that next week's PS4 system software update (version 1.75) will add 3D Blu-Ray film support.

Though the PS4 received a software update earlier this week, next week's update is the first time we've seen a major feature arrive on the console since April, when SHAREfactory was introduced. Sony hasn't announced if the update will contain any other major features.
