PS4, Xbox One rumored to get separate Assassin’s Creed game in 2014

Ubisoft is rumored to be working on two separate Assassin's Creed titles for 2014; one being an exclusive next-gen version for PS4 and Xbox One, while the other is being developed for the now last-generation PS3 and Xbox 360.

The rumor comes via Examiner which cites "sources familiar with these projects." Unfortunately, not much else was shared with the site which urges readers to "take everything with a grain of salt" as it's not yet confirmed by Ubisoft.

Although Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag looked fantastic on both PS4 and Xbox One, it's clear that the franchise would benefit from exclusive next-gen development. In addition to the two separate games, the series is also said to be "under a massive re-scope." What do you think this would mean for the franchise?
