Yesterday, Microsoft officially revealed the list of the first 104 backwards compatible games for the Xbox One. The list was called lackluster by quite a few members of the Xbox One community, but it won't always be like that.
A bit of exciting information was hidden in the wall of text that led to the list of games, information that promised more games – starting in December.
"You can expect new Xbox One Backwards Compatible games to be announced on a regular basis, starting in December," wrote Microsoft's Larry Hryb. "More titles are on the way, including fan favorites like Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite and Skate 3."
So, if you were a bit disappointed in the initial list… You have something to look forward to. Unfortunately, we probably won't be seeing any Rockstar games (like Red Dead Redemption) becoming backward compatible, because of the sheer size of their games.
