PSA: Bring your own Slurpee cup day this weekend

It's been nearly three years since the mashed potato dispenser hit 7-11, of course we had to cover that pivitol moment in history. Yes, the dispense also had gravy in it. Whether or not you have seen the mashed potato dispenser is overshadowed by the most recent 7-11 news to have been released.

This Saturday, April 11th, is officially Bring Your Own Cup Day at 7-11. No matter what you bring, as long as it's not a toaster, shoe, dog or hat, you can fill it up with Slurpee goodness for $1.49.

Yes, you can use a pot, a tea kettle, dog bowl, bucket, Nesquick container… Almost anything you want. If you aren't sure whether or not your container will be approved, there's a pretty simple way of finding out. Snapchat 7-11 a picture of your container and they will respond with a thumbs up or a thumbs down.

There are a couple limitation though — your cup has to fit through a 10" hole, it can't be leaky, it has to be safe for food and you're only limited to bringing one cup.
