PSA: GTA 5 iFruit app on Android is a fake!

Android users, do NOT download the Grand Theft Auto: iFruit app currently on the Google Play store.

Designed to look like the official iFruit app released by Rockstar Games earlier this week on the App Store, the one available for Android is actually a fake. Upon looking at the app in-store, you can see it's developed by "tutti saluti," not actually Rockstar — so that's your first hint.

The second hint is the app's description: "Here is a un-official 100% fan-guide including tips and tricks. You may find some information useful here. This is a perfect for beginner and intermediate player. Please note – This is not a game !! It's is game guide."

I'd still be cautious, though, as it currently has a 1.2 rating with many reviewers claiming it's nothing more than malware. I've not yet installed the app — for obvious reasons — but I'd go ahead and heed these warnings.

Those of you looking for the real app, you can find it on the iOS App Store.
