Heads up, Metroid Prime: Trilogy is available on the Wii U Virtual Console as of today! Metroid Prime: Trilogy is a complilation of the GameCube originals Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and the Wii classic Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
The Trilogy originally released in 2009 on the Wii and was discontinued a year a later in North America and Australia, so, you could say it's making a comeback of sorts.
Thanks to a Throwback Sale, Metroid Prime: Trilogy will be 50% off, putting the price at $9.99, from today until February 5th at 8:59 AM PT. Unfortunately, the Wii U's GamePad will not be used with the Virtual Console port of the game – you will be using the Wii Remote and the Nunchuck.
