Back in 2005, Capcom officially released Resident Evil 4 for the Gamecube. The game was released after nearly six years of development and was eventually ported to the PC, Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Now, the game has officially made the move onto another generation of consoles, except this time it has been remastered.
The Xbox One and PS4 versions are basically a port of the 2014 PC remaster which features an upgraded 60 FPS, a complete visual overhaul (1080p on consoles), optimization and basically the same set of trophies. Both the Xbox One and PS4 versions are priced at $20.00.
In Resident Evil 4, Leon’s mission is to save the president’s daughter Ashley Graham from cult members who have joined with Los Illuminados, which is an ancient religious sect that has infected them with a mind-controlling parasite. It doesn't feature the traditional Resident Evil zombie, but the parasitic enemy type that's also found in Resident Evil 5 (and will be seen in Resident Evil 7).
