PSA: There’s a bug when redeeming Armsday Orders in Destiny

Every Wednesday in Destiny, Banshee-44 (the Gunsmith) offers a fresh batch of weapons to test. When you have enough reputation with the Gunsmith and complete the bounty, you can place an order to pick up that weapon for some Glimmer on the following Wednesday. There's a bit of a problem, though — or rather, a bug.

Yesterday, a co-worker of mine was complaining that he lost his Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them. At first, I was super confused; however, it appears to be an issue affecting more than just him.

Bungie took to the forums to acknowledge the issue, warning players "It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen."

Although Bungie is investigating the issue, thy suggest "that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window."

We can confirm the Armsday Order does go through without a problem when doing it through the Gunsmith's window. Unfortunately, there's no mention if Guardians who already lost their orders will be compensated. On the bright side, Wednesday is just a few days away.
