Welp, looks like PlayStation Network is down again. The cause is still a mystery, though it may have something to do with purchasing and downloading Minecraft on PS4. At least it's not another DDoS attack, right?
Over on Sony's support website, the company acknowledges PSN is "intermittently available," explaining that the service is "currently experiencing high volume" resulting in users experiencing issues when connecting to the service.
A separate announcement states that Sony is aware that some users are having issues with pricing, purchasing and downloading Minecraft for PS4.
"We are working to resolve the issue ASAP," Sony says, "please try again at a later time."
Meanwhile, here's what Sony support officially tweeted.
We are aware that there are currently some issues with accessing PSN. Thanks for your patience as we work to resolve the issues.
