PSN leak reveals Yakuza 2 is getting the HD Remake treatment

2017 has been kind to Yakuza fans, beginning earlier this year with Yakuza 0 and continuing next week with the HD Remake of the original game, Yakuza Kiwami. As reported by Kotaku, a leak on Taiwan'tĀ PSN Store has revealed that the second game in the series will also be getting an HD Remake, complete with a new engine and re-recorded audio.

Here's the screenshot:

There's no indication of a release date, but it's clear that with two Yakuza games in a single year, that there is a renewed push to get the brand some much-needed exposure.
