Sony has announced planned maintenance for PlayStation Network, currently scheduled for Monday, April 21. The network maintenance is expected to take place between 9:50am and 3:50pm Pacific Time (12:50pm to 6:50pm Eastern Time). Of course, anyone familiar with Sony's PlayStation maintenance is probably well aware that it could be extended well beyond the approximate six hour window. So we'll hope for the best.
Sony notes that if you've signed in to the network any time since April 16th, you should still be able to play games online and access partner apps like Netflix during this maintenance period. However, the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home, and Account Management will not be available during this time.
"We thank you for your patience and support and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," Sony said.
