Last December, Xbox added 2017’s breakout hit and trendsetter, PUBG, to its exclusive line-up. Now, several reputable leaks from outlets like Eurogamer and even retailers like Amazon indicate the game’s making its way to PS4 this December. To combat this competition, Microsoft will be adding the game to their Xbox Games Pass starting November 12th.
The service costs $9.99 a month and allows users to access a catalogue of hundreds of games ranging from Xbox exclusives, Xbox 360 classics, indies, and blockbuster titles from studios like Bethesda. The service has been very successful for Microsoft and the list of games keeps growing, with PUBG being added, it’ll surely boost subscriber numbers and player engagement with the title which has lost some steam with the rise in popularity of Fortnite.
PUBG is actively being updated on Xbox One with new maps, modes, improvements to performance, and more. It was recently revealed that they’re actively trying to bring the Xbox One version of the game to 60 FPS as well.
PUBG is out now on Xbox One and PC. Game Pass is available for $1 if you sign up right now as well.
