As previously stated, PlayerUknown’s Battlegrounds was to receive a patch soon to add a few “quality-of-life” improvements. Well, the wait ends as Update 4 rolls out today.
When the game launched initially, it was criticized for its performance compared to the PC release, but PUBG Corp. has stated its intent to continue improving its game. Today’s patch introduces an increase in how much damage players can deal to vehicles. It also adds an option to its menu to allows players to change aim acceleration to accommodate controller play. Music can also be toggled on and off in this menu.
Most importantly, PUBG Corp. has fixed some frame rate issues, both server and player side, and has fixed a number of crash issues. The last update also addressed in-game lag, and was released recently as well.
The brand itself is performing remarkably with its performance on Steam and is already the fourth most played game on Xbox One. PUBP Corp. has definitely proven their dedication to the console release of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, with four update in less than a month to balance their game.
Once the Xbox exclusivity runs out, PUBP Corp. has stated its aim to put the game on every platform and even wishes for a movie or cartoon in the future. Take a look at the patch notes below:
