Since PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) released on Xbox One through the console’s Preview Program the game has seen plenty of success and a mixed reception. The game is the fourth most played Xbox One game despite performance issues.
The team of developers behind PUBG have been releasing updates on a nearly weekly basis to address performance issues. Players can rest assured that the game has not been forgotten about over the holidays.
The first patch for PUBG in 2018 is likely working its way through Microsoft’s Certification process today. Yesterday, the developers released a note that the first Client Side patch of 2018 has finalized its list of fixes and will be submitted to Microsoft’s Certification today – unless something goes wrong.
The upcoming patch will focus on addressing known crashes, as well as provide quality of life improvements and gameplay adjustments. Details regarding the timing or release and the content of the patch will be released later this week.
