Not that it was terribly hard to get in, but CD Projekt RED's Closed Beta for Gwent is nearing an end, and they have officially announced when the next phase of testing, its Public Beta will begin. Starting on May 24th, 2017, PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 users will be able to partake in the Gwent Public Beta, the largest testing phase that the game has seen to date.
Previous Closed Beta participants will have their progress wiped to make sure every player starts off on a level playing field. But those players won't be left empty-handed as Closed Beta participants can expect to have several rewards coming their way sometime in the future.
Here's a breakdown of those rewards courtesy of CD Projekt RED:
It's also worth noting that there will be a small transitional period from the end of the Closed Beta. Beginning on May 22nd, the Gwent servers will go down for maintenance before coming back up for the start of Public Beta on May 24th.
If you haven't already signed up for the Gwent Beta, it is unfortunately too late to get in, as registrations ended last weekend. But, if you have been looking to try out Gwent, it won't be long until you can give it a go.
