Puzzle & Dragons’ 2 million downloads in North America are a fraction of its Asian success

GungHo Online Entertainment announced that Puzzle & Dragons has reached 2 million downloads in North America. But that number is dwarfed by the match-3 mobile game's success in Asia.

Puzzle & Dragons has achieved 21 million downloads in Japan and Korea. It's available on both iOS and Android and debuted in 2012.

GungHo has collaborated with other mobile developers, running cross-game promotions with Clash of Clans, Batman: Arkham Origins, and Angry Birds (pictured). The company is planning a 3DS version for release in Japan soon, with a Western launch to follow later.
