Puzzle & Dragons tops four million downloads in North America

Puzzle & Dragons has surpassed four million downloads in North America, GungHo Online Entertainment announced today. For those keeping track, that's about a one million player increase in the six weeks since celebrating the three million North American mark. To celebrate this latest feat, GungHo is planning a special two week in-game event with more details to come.

For those unfamiliar, Puzzle & Dragons is an online mobile title which uniquly blends puzzle-solving, dungeon-crawling, and monster-collecting all-in-one. In it, you capture, collect, and evolve hundreds of elemental monsters which, in turn, you use for dungeon-crawling. In their press release, GungHo attributed much of the game's success to its "unique in-game collaborations across a variety of media properties from video games to comic books."

As a result of the latest accomplishment, Puzzle & Dragons has now surpassed 30 million downloads worldwide.
