Puzzle platformer Never Alone releases on Xbox One, PS4 and Steam today

Have you heard of the Iñupiat or of their stories? The Iñupiat are an Alaskan Native people and for the first time a game has been developed in collaboration with them.

Developer Upper One Games had nearly 40 Alaska Native elders, story tellers and community members contribute to the development of the puzzle platformer, Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna).

In Never Alone you play as Nuna, a young Iñupiat girl and an arctic fox as they attempt to find the source of the eternal blizzard that stands to destroy everything they've ever known. You can play as both characters alone or play local co-op with a friend. Each character has a specific skill set, Nuna climbs ladders, rops moves heavy objects and can throw her bola to solve puzzles. The fox fits into small areas, jumps high and can get up walls that Nuna can't.

Check out Never Alone on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam.
