Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts will grace the cover of this year's R.B.I. Baseball 16, which will be returning to Xbox One, PS4, PC, and mobile devices.
After some dismal predecessors, Major League Baseball's series will continue with MLB 16, and will feature some much-needed improvements. All 30 MLB stadiums remain, but they all possess upgraded visuals and aesthetic enhancements. Players will notice improvements to the base running, pitching and hitting systems, and AI will react better to the individual player. A simulation mode has been aded to help speed up playing a full season or completely sim it and start right in the playoffs.
Although there will be online play, it will be limited to the console and PC versions with no cross play. Mobile platforms will have their own version of the game.
No exact release date was announced yet, but the last two instalments launched in the first week of April during opening week of the MLB season.
R.B.I. Baseball 16 will cost $19.99 on consoles and $4.99 on mobile devices.
