Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart announced for PlayStation 5

A few years ago, Insomniac Games revived their beloved platformer Ratchet and Clank for PlayStation 4. The game was a huge success due to its humor, fun gameplay, and modernization of a bygone era in gaming. As the studio moved to Spider-Man, an even bigger success, many worried Ratchet and Clank would be left behind.

But that couldn’t be further from the truth! Insomniac Games is leading the charge on the early PlayStation 5 line-up with a sequel to their beloved platformer. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart looks to embrace the power of PS5 with its beautiful visuals and frenetic gameplay. It even looks like you’ll be doing some jumping between dimensions and other crazy stuff that will be making great use of the PlayStation 5’s SSD. You can take a look below.

That said, Insomniac Games is still putting effort into Spider-Man. Earlier today, they announced a Miles Morales focused Spider-man game will launch on PS5 this holiday season.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has no release date right now.
