Rayman Legends and Splinter Cell: Blacklist underwhelm in sales

Lower-than-expected sales of Rayman Legends and Splinter Cell: Blacklist, two recent releases, have cost Ubisoft valuable sales for the fiscal year, which has resulted in a projected revenue drop.

Ubisoft changed its sales targets to account for about $566 million in missed sales. This will lead to an operating loss rather than a profit for the fiscal year, the company predicts.

The delay of Watch Dogs and The Crew have taken a toll as well. Watch Dogs was supposed to launch alongside the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this November but has been pushed to early next year. And The Crew is now scheduled for even later.

At least Ubisoft has Assassin's Creed 4: The Black Flag to help pick up the slack. It launches at the end of this month.
