After previously being announced in a Nintendo Direct earlier this year, Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition has a release date for Nintendo Switch. On their official Twitter account, Nintendo of America revealed that the game will launch on September 12th, 2017 and that a demo will come out later this summer ahead of release.
Here's the tweet:
With Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition, Nintendo is adding one of the best platformers to release in the last several years after originally launching back in September of 2013 on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. The game eventually made its way to modern consoles and will join a rapidly growing Nintendo Switch library that has gotten off to a solid start in its life cycle.
Metascores for Rayman Legends range from the high 80s to low 90s depending on the platform so, suffice it to say, if you haven't already played the game, the Nintendo Switch is about to be the best place to play the game.
