Rayman Legends to release on Wii U in February 2013

Ubisoft has announced that its highly anticipated Wii-exclusive platformer, Rayman Legends will be released in North America on February 26, 2013. A demo for the game will be available worldwide on December 13, 2012 through the Nintendo eShop, giving fans a chance to experience charming platformer.

Joining the classic cast of Rayman, Globox and the Teensies are new characters Murphy and Barbara. Together they will embark on a fantasy adventure through "a series of legendary worlds with new environments and enemies."

Rayman Legends is being developed exclusively for Wii U. Using the Wii U GamePad Touch Screen, players can take out enemies, cut ropes to clear a path, and move rotating platforms. Additionally, it introduces several new maps designed around the pace of game's popular and original music score.

Rayman Legends will be available in EMEA territories on February 28, and March 1 in the UK.
