It's not too often that a title is marked down $30 after its initial release and is then deemed "profitable," but according to Ubisoft, Rayman Origins is just that:
"We believe Rayman Origins has the capacity to become a long-term seller for the company," CFO Alain Martinez stated during a recent investors call. Ironically, Origins is a brilliant game, and is definitely worth your hard earned cash, but it still only sold 50,000 copies during its first month.
Rayman you surprised is with an outstanding title that did terribly in retail, and you continue to surprise us saying you made Ubisoft money. Oh well, we can only look forward to more.
