A Ubisoft press release detailed key information regarding the upcoming Nintendo 3DS platformer Rayman 3D. According to Ubisoft, Rayman 3D will actually be an enhanced adaptation of the wildly popular Rayman 2. The port will feature updated gameplay mechanics in addition to the stereoscopic 3D visuals.
Rayman 2 is arguably the most successful game in the series, and it has landed on several top games lists over the years. This certainly spells nothing but good news for fans of the original. Rayman 3D – which is a port of the Dreamcast version of Rayman 2 – is a confirmed launch window title for Nintendo’s new handheld.
