RBI Baseball 14 steps up to bat on April 10

RBI Baseball 14, the only baseball game that will be available on Xbox platforms, will be released for last-gen systems (Xbox 360 and PS3) as well as mobile devices on April 10. The announcement comes via ESPN Sports Business Reporter Darren Rovell, though he couldn't confirm release dates for Xbox One or PS4 versions.

RBI Baseball 14 was announced in January of this year. The franchise's return from a 10-plus year hiatus comes at a perfect time for Xbox owners who otherwise would be left without a baseball game this year. In early January, 2K confirmed they would not be renewing the MLB 2K series for 2014.

RBI Baseball 14 is being developed by MLB Advanced Media, Major League Baseball's in-house interactive entertainment division that typically works on mobile games and broadcast tools like MLB.TV.
