Because the world is stupid, everybody made a big deal out of Bryce Dallas Howard's character wearing heels in Jurassic World. In Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, actress Rebecca Ferguson will look to avoid the same type of pointless conversation by, well, removing her heels in the upcoming film.
The minute clip from the movie is filled with intensity as both Rebecca Ferguson (Isla) and Tom Cruise (Ethan Hunt) are escaping from… well, something… as they run across rooftops. But, before they go jumping from rooftops, Isla has one request. No, it's not Cruise's hand to help her over a balcony ledge, it's that he helps remove her heels.
Make of it what you will. I, personally, don't care enough about the "issue" to weigh in on it. Still, I thought it'd be fun to share because I'm sure websites everywhere will undoubtedly go on to analyze this five second clip and debate whether its anti- or pro- feminism. Yay internet.
