Welp, it's official. In less than a week, ReCore: Definitive Edition has gone from rumor to an impending announcement to now a seemingly accidental reveal. A page on the Microsoft Store went up earlier today allowing players to pre-order the game, which has since been taken down. That said, the page was up long enough to provide a price point and an official release date.
Here's a screenshot of the page:
As you can see, the ReCore: Definitive Edition will release later this month on August 29th for both PC and Xbox One for a lower price point of $19.99. The listing also confirms the addition of the previously announced "Eye of Obsidian" quest as well as the "T8-NK" Corebot Frame. Also, if you look at the upper right-hand corner of the box, the Definitive Edition will bring HDR support as well as enhancements with the Xbox One X.
We still expect ReCore: Definitive Edition to be "formally" announced during the Xbox @ Gamescom 2017 live broadcast this Sunday at 3 PM EST/12 PM PST.
