A day after we got a new poster for Red Dawn, today we get the first trailer. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Josh Peck, Adrianne Palicki, Isabel Lucas, Connor Cruise and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Red Dawn is a remake of the 1984 action movie that sees a group of teens fighting back against the Soviet army occupying their town.
The new Red Dawn has Hemsworth as a former marine leading his younger brother and friends against North Korean soldiers who invade the United States. There's tons of explosions and cool action shots in the first full trailer, and you get to see how 'The Wolverines' plan to cause chaos. And that shot of paratroopers and planes above their town… damn.
While it looks like more of a pure action movie than its predecessor, I'm quite happy with how Red Dawn looks. The cast is already great, and this trailer did nothing to discourage me.
Red Dawn releases November 21.
