Red Dead Online now available standalone for just $5

As announced before, Red Dead Online is now available as a standalone experience on PC & consoles. The online portion of Red Dead Redemption 2 costs only $4.99 until February 15th, 2021. Check out the launch trailer here!

Rockstar Games’ Wild West epic Red Dead Redemption 2 is an outstanding game. After last year’s PC port, there really is no reason not to enjoy it, too. While it offers the full package in the form of an excellent campaign and deep multiplayer mode, not every gamer is interested in both.

Similar to GTA Online, a sizeable population of gamers solely want to role-play in the multiplayer mode of RDR2. Seeing that, buying the entire game holds off many gamers from jumping in.

Rockstar acknowledges that by now releasing a fully standalone Red Dead Online. Even better, at an insanely low price of just five bucks. Yes, you read that right. $4.99 for the full and entire multiplayer experience. Nothing’s cut here.

Forge your own path as you battle lawmen, outlaw gangs and ferocious wild animals to build a life on the American frontier.

There’s no question, Red Dead Online will now get a huge new wave of additional players. The deal is just too good. If you’re interested in it, you should know that this is only an introductory price that will last until February 15th. After then, the online game’s price will permanently increase to $19.99.

Coinciding with the launch of Red Dead Online standalone, the new Bounty Hunters update for it is now also available. Track down new and dangerous criminals and collect your money from the authorities. With the inclusion of 10 new ranks of progression, players should be occupied for a while.

Red Dead Online on PC is available on the Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam, and Epic Games Store. On consoles, you can play it on Sony’s & Microsoft’s current and next-gen systems via backward compatibility.
