Red Dead Redemption now playable on Xbox One via backward compatibility

After months of leaked artwork and screenshots for a remaster, we are finally getting what fans have been begging for — no not Half-Life 3, we aren't talking about dreams here! Red Dead Redemption has officially hit the Xbox One via backwards compatibility.

Earlier this week Microsoft revealed that Red Dead Redemption would be hitting the Xbox One on Friday and guess what? It's Friday!

That means that you can download Red Dead Redemption on your Xbox One (US Store Link), as well as all of the multiplayer content and other DLC (US Store Link) right now! Unfortunately for PlayStation owners, Red Dead Redemption isn't hitting the PS4. However, PS4 fans can play the game adaptation of the cult classic film, The Warriors for $14.99.
