Red Dead Redemption is one of the most requested games for Xbox One's backward compatibility, and it looks like it finally may be happening.
Spotted on NeoGAF, Red Dead Redemption was listed alongside Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 in an Xbox LIVE user's gamelist. It's not confirmation, but it is suggestive that the Rockstar's open world, western action-adventure could be on its way to official backward compatibility support.
It's similar to the same situation that happened with Left 4 Dead; you're able to download Red Dead Redemption if you own it digitally, but does require some navigation to do so. Eventually Microsoft went on to disable it for Left 4 Dead, so I imagine they'll do the same for this.
Previously, it was speculated that the size of Red Dead Redemption — a multi-disc game — would prevent its release; however, in late December of last year it was suggested that Microsoft was working on backward compatibility support for multi-disc games.
Nothing has officially been announced yet, but it's looking promising.
