Redeeming a code on Xbox One takes less than 7 seconds

This is, BY FAR, the coolest functionality I've seen from the Xbox One's Kinect. Forget facial and voice recognition; forget tracking my blood flow; Microsoft has found a way to make redeeming codes on Xbox hassle-free.

Gone are the days of manually inputting 16-character codes on the Xbox One. Using the Kinect, all you'll have to do is hold up the paper with the QR code to the camera and the Xbox One will do the rest.

Microsoft's Major Nelson posted a video of the action on Vine and the entire process takes less than 7 seconds — much faster than having to put in a code manually. THIS, my friends, is the future and easily the coolest reason to own a Kinect.
